Calahonda is central to all the top resorts along the Costa Del Sol

Calahonda is located 10 minutes away from the coastal town of Marbella and the scenic village of Mijas. Malaga airport is a 30 minute drive. The area of Calahonda consists of various low level apartment complex’s, which differs greatly from the high rise apartment blocks of Fuengirola and Torremolinos. The advantage of staying in Calahonda is that it is located centrally to all the attractions & resorts on the Costa del sol.

Our apartment, has nearby facilities including bars, restaurants, golf courses, 24 hour medical centre and mini-supermarket. The nearby El Zoco Complex, has a large supermarket and a further selection of bars & restaurants.

The local Calahonda beach is a 15 minute walk, however our favourite is the beautiful sandy beach of Cabopino which is a 5 min drive away. The Port area of Cabopino has a host of fine bars & restaurants.

Marbella: (10 mins drive)

One of the most delightful promenades on the Costa Del Sol, with its classy restaurants and bars overlooking the beach front. A visit to the Orange Square will bring to a host of street restaurants in the old part of Marbella.
Fuengirola: (10 mins drive)
A busy resort, with 8km of good clean beaches, where the promenade spans the entire coast. The town becomes alive at night with its many bars & clubs's. Many water sports attractions are also available here.
Peurto Banus: (20 mins drive)
With it’s mega rich yachts, world famous fashion shops, Casino, shopping centre, top beaches and spectacular views, makes this place special. The nightlife is buzzing with numerous Bars & Restaurants overlooking themarina. Hire a yacht and go out into the Mediterranean
Benalmadena: (30 mins drive)
A lively resort with its beautiful sandy beaches & a spectacular promenade 2km long. Visit the Marina Plaza, often described as Covent Garden on water. Other attractions include the Tivoli World theme park.
Mijas Pueblo: (20 mins drive)
One of the prettiest villages in Spain, this traditional village has breath taking views. Tour the charm of this village on the famous Donkey taxis. Also lookout for the Mineral water spring at the entrance to the village
Ronda  (60 mins drive)
Ronda is truly a spectacular village, famous throughout Spain for the plunging river gorge which divides this enchanting village. Ronda also has the oldest & most beautiful bullring in the whole of Spain.
Torremolinos: (30 mins drive)
The coastline has six beaches & for shopping visit the very popular San Miguel Street is a must. The bars & restaurants makes it a ideal location for a great nightlife. The gigantic Aqua Park is also a star attraction here.
Gibraltar: (90 mins drive)
Has many attractions,St Michales Cave,Cable cars,Wild Dolphins & Barbary apes. Some of the major supermarkets found in UK, most of all tax free shopping (Don't forget to take passport along when visiting).
